Hobble Wobble 5K

Join us for the Hobble Wobble 6k on Saturday, September 27 at 8:45 a.m. We have partnered with our Wavetronix Wellness/Fitness Team Move. Move will be organizing Pre-Race prep activities to help us get ready for this event. 

This year we are introducing our kids only 1K race for those ages 12 and under and our competitive 10K race for our more serious runners. We will still have our 6K course that is great for slow walkers, avid racers, and anyone in between. 

We are also offering a Virtual Race as an option for those that live outside of Utah and those who cannot attend the event in person on race day. If you complete the Virtual Race within between September 20 - September 28, 2025 and email in your time to Loni Hayward by October 1, 2025, you are also eligible for race T-shirt and medal to be picked up after you turn in your time or if you are remote, it will be mailed to you.

FEES

• There is a refundable $10.00 per adult registration + fees for Wavetronix employees (and their household) or a friend and Wavetronix guests and Virtual Race participants (age 18 and older). This fee will be refundable in the form of an Amazon gift card if you attend the race or do it virtually and turn in your time by October 1, 2025.
• Wavetronix CHILDREN, Guest CHILDREN, Virtual Race CHILDREN (age 17 and under) and Volunteers are FREE

Be one of the first 300 people who sign up and complete any of the races to get a custom 2025 Hobble Wobble medal! If you aren't worried about the shirt or medal, you have up until September 23, 2025 to register.

An Awards Ceremony will occur after the three races. Awards will be given to the top three finishers of each division and Overall Winners. *If you are participating in the Virtual Race you will not be eligible for age group awards but are still eligible for PR or personal record pin if you participated in the May 2025 Hobble Creek Runoff 5K.

Personal Record category

• PR pins will be given in the 6K if you beat your PR time from 2025 Hobble Creek Runoff.

*We will have a Stroller Rider sign-up category for the 6K. (if your child will be riding in a stroller and not walking) -no awards will be given for this category

OTHER INFORMATION

• If you are not a walker or a runner, you are welcome to sign up as a VOLUNTEER to help the Events and Move Teams day of the race. You are also eligible for a T-shirt and medal.
• There will be snacks at the end of the run.
• Strollers and wagons are allowed in the 6K race, but no bikes, scooters, etc.
• There will be photo ops with Sensor Man and Echo (the Expanse mascot) along the course. We will have a photographer, and we encourage you to take your own pictures if you'd like!
