Millie's Princess Run
Millie's Princess Run Race Description
Millie’s Princess Run is an annual 5K aimed at raising funds and support for local kids fighting cancer. Each year we sponsor two kids, our Prince and Princess, and 100% of the funds raised go directly to their families to help cover the immense costs that come with a pediatric cancer diagnosis. Through running, fun, laughter, and dancing, we hope to bring the community together to show support for these tiny superheroes and their families.
Every runner that registers will receive a beautiful finisher's medal designed with Millie’s original artwork. We strongly encourage costumes of all kinds, including tutus, princess dresses, crowns and superheroes! Use the hashtag #MilliesPrincessRun
Even as these races are underway, we have more excitement up our sleeves. A field of grass covered in bounce houses, face painting, prince and princesses, mascots, nerf gun wars, ropes course, and zip line awaits the adventurous child. Food trucks will be on site for when hunger strikes.
As this is also a fundraiser, you will find a silent auction filled with all sorts of marvelous finds. All of this is put on by a fabulous group of unpaid volunteers and sponsors. This means that EVERY PENNY we raise goes to the Prince and Princess and their families. Millie's Princess Run FAQ

We know that the last few years have taken a lot out of everyone. While the rest of the world has slowed down pediatric cancer diagnosis’ have not. So get registered solo, or gather your favorite team, and help us support these tiny fighters who need us the most!
Join us on June 14 for a run and party, Because Cancer Is a Royal Pain.
Meet this year's royalty!
Cadence

Cadence was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in May of 2023. She will finish treatment this August (just a few months away!), and we couldn’t be more proud of her. Leukemia treatment lasts over two years—and the financial toll lasts even longer. That’s why we run: to support families like Cadence’s through every step of this journey.
Cadence loves all things princess and is rarely seen without a tiara or dress to match. She also loves to sing, dance, color, play with friends, and show off her “real makeup.” Her favorite food? Mac and cheese, of course. And her favorite colors (for today, anyway): purple, red, and pink.
Since her diagnosis, Cadence and her family have been part of our events—it already feels like they’re part of our foundation family. Her dad even volunteered at last year’s run, which makes it especially meaningful to honor Cadence this year.
Aadeet

Aadeet was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma—a rare liver cancer—last November. His journey has included multiple rounds of chemotherapy, blood transfusions, a feeding tube, spinal fractures of unknown cause, and more. Despite all of it, he still finds joy in the things he loves: puzzles, coloring, Pokémon, Bluey, and Paw Patrol. He proudly says he wants to be a "fixer" when he grows up.
He loves French toast, the color blue, and playing with his two brothers. He’s imaginative, creative, and always full of personality. He’s also incredibly brave.
We’re so excited to celebrate Aadeet and his family at this year’s Millie’s Princess Run! Every step we take is for families like theirs—families facing the unimaginable with love, resilience, and hope.

My family really looks forward to this event each year. It’s a special opportunity for us to support and cheer-on these sweet children and their families, who are bravely fighting unimaginable battles. It’s truly humbling to look around and see so many supporters come out to show their love, and to let these kids know that they’re not fighting the battle alone. The event is well-organized, and so much fun! Besides the 2k and 5k races, there are bounce-houses, water walkers, climbing walls, Nerf wars, food trucks, face painting, a silent auction, and so much more! My kids always love to dress up in their tutus and tiaras, and mingle with their favorite princesses and super heroes after the race. This is the one event each year where they even get to dress dad up in a skirt and tiara! The t-shirts and medals are a nice touch, helping us to really feel a real connection to some very special people. The best part is that we know that all of the money raised will be such a blessing to the families who will receive it.
